HOW IT WORKS
CONNECT THE SWITCH
HouseMate can be operated with it’s built-in switch or by connecting up to five external switches. For joystick users, interface cables are available for popular wheelchair controls.
LAUNCH THE APP
Compatible with iPhone, iPad and Android devices. Press your Switch to start the scanning on screen. Launch the HouseMate app to begin environmental control.
CONTROL YOUR HOME
Household appliances are represented as symbols in the app. Selecting a symbol, the control box then transmits the corresponding InfraRed or Radio signal.

SWITCH CONTROL
Many a.t. companies offer dozens of accessibility switches each designed for a particular disability. HouseMate is compatible with all of these. From Sip & Puff controls to Buddy buttons and Proximity switches etc. can be used to control your device.
JOYSTICK CONTROL
Depending on the brand of electronics in your wheelchair, you may be able to use your own wheelchair joystick to control your phone! Just switch from driving mode to external access and your joystick can now control your phone.
MORE ACCESS METHODS
In addition to using your phone’s touch screen, the Apps are controllable with other input devices such as Point-It! joysticks, AbleNet’s Blue2 and even Eye-Tracking devices. HouseMate acts as a hub for controlling the devices in your house.
